I got a box of new Stampin Up! goodies last week and finally had a chance to sit down and play with the new stuff last night. It’s always a bit overwhelming to look at a pile of new products and know where to start. So I decided to start with the stamp set that was at the top of my wish list — Flower Patch. And to make this set even better, there are coordinating framelits!
I pulled out a sheet of dsp from the All Abloom dsp stack, and used Strawberry Slush, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight ink for the flowers. The leaves use Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive.
I stamped off onto scratch paper first to get the lighter base shades on a couple of the flowers. Cutting everything out with framelits is such a time saver. On this first card, I kept the flowers pretty simple — basically just one layer.
While I had all of the ink pads and other supplies out, I decided to make one more card with the same color scheme and add more layers on the flowers.
