It’s Wednesday, and that means it’s time for a new challenge over at the Freshly Made Sketches site. And our fabulously talented Aussie friend, Narelle Farrugia, has a great sketch for us.
I have been loving the Hello Darling stamp set lately. I was on the fence about this set, as I was not sure about how versatile it would be. But I’m so glad I got it! I keep coming up with more ways to use it. And when I saw Narelle’s sketch, I knew I wanted to use this stamp set.
I used a color combo of So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Tangerine Tango, and Old Olive. I embossed the floral image with clear embossing powder on the So Saffron card stock, which gave it almost the appearance of Crushed Curry — love it!
The sentiment comes from the set Four You.
I hope you’ll join us and play along with this challenge. You can see what the other designers made with the sketch at the Freshly Made Sketches site.

You are so creative. I’ve been seeing your cards for awhile now and I’m always SO impressed. Thanks.
Wow, I just want to reach out and touch that So Saffron layer – it looks stunning! As does your whole card – just gorgeous!
I never in a million years would I have thought to put these colors together but you, of course, have made them work beautifully. Have fun at convention. And I wonder if there will be any new pets waiting for you when you get home!
That one fabulous background!
Amy this card is just gorgeous – I love the effect clear embossing adds to the background – I tend to forget to do this. As always you combine colours like no other!
