Every once in a while, Stampin’ Up! will surprise us and come out with a new photopolymer stamp set out of the blue. The latest one to come out is called Yee-Haw, and I just love it! The images are so fun, and I love how easy it is to mix and match all of the elements. I just got this set yesterday, and I couldn’t wait to ink it up. I haven’t even put it on my stamp shelf yet, because I am going to have to play with it some more because there are still lots of cute images I didn’t use yet.
I started with a piece of dsp from the All Abloom dsp pack, which I adhered to the fabulous Kraft cardstock. I then stamped the cute cactus, colored it with the Old Olive Blendabilities markers, and cut it out with my paper snips. I stamped the Howdy with Pumpkin Pie ink and punched it out with the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch. I then stamped the little stars with Lost Lagoon ink, and the larger star with So Saffron ink before punching it out with the 1″ Circle Punch. I stamped the barbed wire using Crumb Cake ink.
Here’s a look at the whole stamp set since it isn’t in any of the catalogs. You can order it online though (item #138107, $25.95 US).
Enjoy your Thursday! Thanks for stopping by!
