I always look forward to Wednesdays because that’s when we unveil a new challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. And this week, the uber-talented Jennifer Timko is our hostess. Look at the great sketch she has for us:
It didn’t take me long to pick out the Cheerful Christmas stamp set for this sketch. I love how clean and pretty the main image is and I thought it would fit perfectly with the sketch.
I paired it with some dsp from the Nordic Noel pack and some Soft Sky card stock for the base.
This turned out to be a really simple and easy card. I love it when that happens!
We’d love for you to make your own card using the sketch. Meanwhile, you can go check out what the rest of the design team made for your inspiration at the Freshly Made Sketches site.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Nice use of this beautiful stamp.
Those Christmas colors look terrific against Soft Sky! Beautiful card!
The Soft Sky background really lets your central image shine! I would never have thought to put those colors together. You’ve pulled another amazing color combo out of the hat!
Love this card – clean and striking with great colours. Thanks for the inspiration, plus the great sketch last week at FMS.
