It’s time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches, and Karren Johnson, our favorite Kiwi, has a versatile sketch for us.
I still had a couple of the cute sleds from the Watercolor Winter Simply Created Card Kit, so I grabbed one and watercolored it with some Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate ink.
I paired it with some of the pretty dsp from the All is Calm Specialty dsp collection. I added some silver ribbon and glimmer paper. Pretty easy.
We hope you’ll be able to join us and share your own take on the sketch this week. We love looking through the gallery at all of the work you create. Meanwhile, you can go see the design team’s awesome work at the Freshly Made Sketches site.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
I love this red sled and it looks terrific with the silver and blues! And that extra sparkle makes this shine!
Fabulous job with the sketch, Amy! The pop of red in that adorable sled really stands out against the cool blues surrounding it. Once again, you have nailed it with your color choices!
Wow! Everything that you chose to create this card is absolutely perfect together. Love the red sled against that DSP print and the silver glimmer paper and ribbon are fabulous choices of accessories. Love this card!
This is amazing Amy. I thought the sled was die cut from velvet! Your coloring gives it such a rich texture! And what a wonderful color combo (but I wouldn’t expect anything less from you)!
Wow, Amy! I love that pop of the red sled agains all that pretty blue. That DSP is the perfect background for it. Such a beautiful card!
Love that vibrant sleight against the blue of that DSP – this is gorgeous Amy!
