Fall Colors for a Circle of Spring — FMS202

It’s time for another sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week Jen Mitchell is our hostess.  And true to her clean style, she has a clean sketch for us.

Jen is so talented at making beautiful clean cards with minimal layers.  I wanted to stay true to her sketch and keep my card as simple as possible.  I pulled out a new stamp set, Circle of Spring, and the coordinating Wonderful Wreath Framelits for my card.

Even though the stamp set is called Circle of Spring, I wanted to use Fall colors.  So I went with a color scheme of Cherry Cobbler, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, and Pear Pizzazz.

Circle of Spring for FallI started by sponging on some Soft Sky on a white card base.  I popped up the wreath with some dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Greetings stamp set. I colored the wreath using a combination of Stampin’ Write markers and a blender pen with my ink pads.

Circle of Spring for Fall Close Up You should hop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site for some inspiration from the design team.  I love the variety on display this week.  We’d love for your to play along and make your own card, as it’s always fun to look through the gallery.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!
