Berry Merry Joy

Here we go again — another Wednesday and another sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week our lovely hostess, Kim Singdahlsen, has a unique and fun sketch for us:

I thought this sketch would be a perfect way to show off some pretty designer paper, Season of Cheer.  I recently got a new Christmas set, Berry Merry, and I was itching to ink it up so I decided to use it too.

Berry Merry JoyI love how there are little elements in this stamp set, like the little holly leaves and berries and the stars, which you can easily place wherever you like since it’s a photopolymer set.  And of course, the Real Red Pompom Trim is so much fun.

Berry Merry Joy Close UpWe hope you’ll play along and join us by making your own card with this sketch.  We love to look through the gallery each week.  You can mosey on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site to gain some inspiration from the design team — you won’t be disappointed.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Gorgeous! So bright and cheerful and all the little touches make for one fabulous card. And by the way, any time you want to come visit, you just say the word 🙂

  2. This is such a fun card, Amy! I love the way you cut out the ‘Joy’, the papers that you chose, and the red pompom trim is the perfect finishing touch!
