It’s already time for another challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. And this week Kim Singdahlsen, who just made a major career change to an accountant and jumped into her first busy season head first, is our hostess. I admire her so much! Here is what she has for us this week:
I have to say that this one stumped me for a while. But that big circle kept calling sun to me, so I went in that direction because I love the Sunburst Thinlits die.
I punched a 2-1/2″ circle from the It’s My Party dsp stack, and layered a vellum circle (from the Circle Collection Framelits) underneath it just for a little bit of added interest. The sun’s rays and sentiment were stamped with stamps from the Sunburst Sayings collection.
This was all mounted on a card base of Kraft Cardstock (love this stuff). A little gold button and baker’s twine finish it off. Super quick and easy card!
We hope you’ll join us and play along this week! We love to see what you create. For a dose of inspiration, jump on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team created. You’ll be impressed!
Have a great Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Oh I love this glorious sunburst! I am so ready for a warm spring and summer! You always add wonderful details…..like the hint of vellum peeking out!
Fun card! Love the squiggly rays beaming down!
Such a great card Amy! I love that sun burst and it looks great with the rays stamped on! Love how it all looks against the Kraft background! Can’t wait for some warm sun here!
