I love this sketch! You can use so many different images with this. I ended up keeping my card very true to the sketch and made a birthday card because I never seem to have enough of those.
Rather than feature a birthday cake, I decided to make a birthday ice cream card. I do love cake, but ice cream would be my preferred birthday treat. I chose to make a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone for this card. I can never decide which is my favorite flavor — chocolate, chocolate chip cookie dough, strawberry… I always have the hardest time deciding which flavor to get at the store. This isn’t helped by the fact that all three of my children have different favorites too. What is your favorite flavor?
I used the Biggest Birthday Ever stamp set and coordinating Wish Big Framelits dies. The color scheme is Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso.
The sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set.
This was a quick and easy card to make. The hardest part was choosing the flavor! 🙂

Mmmm, ice cream. Now I admit that I still prefer cake but good chocolate ice cream is a close second. Yes, plain old chocolate. Love the Coral with the Mint! Such a fun card.

Ice cream for a birthday? That’s right up my alley! When I was a kid I always got either coffee or black raspberry ice cream. I think they are still my faves! Great card. Love the colors and the fabbo texture!
