Bitty Love Note — FMS271

It’s time for another new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our favorite Floridian, Cindy Hall, is our hostess.  Take a look at this fabulous, classic sketch that she has for us:

fms-final-271-001I decided to get a jump on Valentine’s Day cards.  That’s always a busy week in our house — two birthdays, kids’ Valentine parties at school, etc…  The Sending Love suite has so many sweet images/dies in it, that it was hard to decide what to include on this card because I wanted to play with them all.  In the end, I chose the adorable little envelope and notecard dies, the arrow die, and the striped heart die.

hello-bitty-love-noteI started with a piece of paper from the Sending Love DSP stack.  After embossing the sentiment with some Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder, I added a strip of Silver Foil Sheets and attached them to the card base, tying some of the Real Red Sending Love Ribbon around it.

We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch this week.  We love to browse the gallery and see what you create.  Meanwhile, be sure to hop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Amy. Loved both of your cards. I think I like the silver embossing more than the white. I think it shows up better. But, I loved them both. Maureen Wheatley

    • How funny! The two pictures are of the same card. The “Hello Love” sentiment is embossed with silver in both pictures. My camera just seems to have a hard time with shiny things. It does make the top picture’s silver accents look white, doesn’t it? Guess I need to do some research on how to photograph this better.

  2. This is such a sweet card Amy! I just love that little envelope, the heart and the arrow! Just perfect for Valentine’s Day! I need to start getting my act together sooner than later!!!

  3. This is such a pretty card! I love your perfect choices of diecut pieces. The silver foil adds so much more eye-grabbing appeal. You sure made me want this suite!
