It’s time for another sketch over at the Freshly Made Sketches site, and this week our favorite Coloradan, Kim Singdahlsen, is our hostess. She has a fun and simple sketch for us that I think you’ll love:
One of my favorite Sale-a-Bration offerings has been the Inside the Lines dsp. It’s so fun to color, but it’s also beautiful when you just leave it as is, which is what I did for this card.
I thought I’d get a jump on a Mother’s Day card, and made this one using the Crazy About You stamp set. The pretty leaves are from the May Flowers Framelits dies..
We hope you’ll join us and play along with the challenge this week! We love to see what you create. Meanwhile, be sure to drop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Love this idea Amy! Thank you for the inspiration! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx
Love this Amy! The greeting spread across the three strips is brilliant.
Love everything about this…the colors, the sentiment strips, the floraly BG, just everything!
Wow that flower looks fabulous against the b/w background! Love this!
Using the strips as sentiment panels is such a clever idea, Amy! Your card is gorgeous!
Your card is absolutely gorgeous Amy! I love that black and white paper! It does look amazing uncoloured! Beautiful flower – love the colour!
Such a brilliant look!! I have that paper, but I have always colored. I love it in simple black and white with the pops of color. LOVE the way you did the sentiment!
I love it uncolored just as much as I love it with color. This is really fantastic as a neutral background, especially with that bright flower. Wonderful card!
Beautiful card Amy. I love how the colorful flower pops on the background. Leaving it uncolored was a great idea!
Oh I love this! I also love how you’ve left the DSP without colour – I wouldn’t have thought to do this! Such a clever thing you are!
