It’s time for another sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches. And this week our lovely Canadian friend, Jen Brum, is our hostess. Look at this fun one:
This one had me stumped for a while. I had some flowers on my desk that I had cut and colored for another card but didn’t end up using. I knew I wanted to use them for a Mother’s Day card, so I decided to make them work for this sketch. I may have taken some creative liberties with the sketch, but hopefully you can see it in my card.
I used a couple of retiring products on this card — the Irresistibly Floral Specialty DSP and my favorite retiring In Color, Watermelon Wonder. The images were stamped on Shimmery White card stock and colored with a blender pen and ink pads. The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card with the sketch. We love seeing what you make. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
