Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of nine stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

When I saw the new We Must Celebrate stamp set in the new Occasions Catalog, I knew it would be going onto my first order.  These little animals are adorable, and I knew they’d be fun to color.  My son, who is away at college, has a birthday next month.  I thought this card would be perfect to send to him.  I’ll just label each of the characters with the names of his two sisters and his dad and me before sending it to him.

I started by stamping the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on thick Whisper White card stock.  After allowing it to dry, I colored the image with my Stampin’ Blends markers.  One of the Lots of Labels framelits dies was used to cut it out.

Once I had finished all this work, I decided to stamp the fun confetti image repeatedly on the card base.  In my carelessness, I accidentally dropped the inked stamp right on my freshly completed focal panel.  *!@*%  That’s where the decision to add sequins came in.  🙂

Some of the new Basic Gray Shimmer Ribbon was looped underneath, as was a bit of black Mini Sequin Trim.
