Bloom for You — FMS325

It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it’s my turn to provide the sketch.  I’ve used some shapes in this sketch (a star and a circle), but of course you can use any shape you prefer.

I’ve had the itch to color with the Stampin’ Blends markers lately, so I pulled out a stamp set that hasn’t seen ink in a while but I thought would be perfect for coloring.

This flower from Birthday Blooms is such a fun flower to color.  I fussy-cut it and placed it on half of a doily.  The striped dsp is from the Petal Passion collection.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch.  I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone does with the sketch.  Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.  I love all of their different interpretations of this sketch.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. A very beautiful card, as always. This stamp set totally deserved matching dies! It seems everything I do with this requires fussy cutting.

  2. This card is just gorgeous Amy! I love those flowers! Your colouring is fantastic! I need to use my markers more!!! It looks perfect with that DSP! So elegant! Great sketch this week!
