50th Anniversary Card

Today is my parents’ 50th anniversary.  Wow!  That is a long time.  And it is surely worthy of a special card.

When I sat down to make them something, I was drawn to the Number of Years stamp set and coordinating framelits.  I knew the card had to have a 50 on it, and my mother loves flowers, so this seemed like a perfect match.

I stamped the flowers using a color combination of Powder Pink, Blackberry Bliss, Pool Party, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz.  The numbers were die-cut from a gold foil sheet.  A bit of gold metallic thread and some gold enamel dots finished off the embellishments.

This stamp set and coordinating dies are retiring after today.  However, this is one set I will hold on to.  I love using it for birthdays, anniversaries and graduations.

I have been very blessed with the loving parents I have.  And I wish them many more happy years together.  I love you, Mom & Dad!

Enjoy your Thursday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Happy 50th Anniversary to your Mom and Dad! What a milestone. And what a gorgeous card to celebrate it. Love the flowers to frame the gold 50. TFS.
