Pretty Pens for a Fabulous Teacher — FMS340

It’s Wednesday, and it’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  This week our friend from half-way around the world in New Zealand, Karren Johnson, is our hostess.  Take a look at this fun sketch:

It is the last day of school for my girls, and one of our favorite teachers will be moving to a different school next year.  We are really sad and will miss her.  I wanted to make a card for her to write her a little note, and thought the pens in the Crafting Forever stamp set would be perfect.

I started with a card base made with Gray Granite card stock.  The pens were stamped with Memento black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends markers.  I then cut them out with my paper snips and adhered them with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from an old Paper Pumpkin stamp set.

We hop you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch.  We love to see what you create!  Meanwhile, be sure to drop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. This card is just fantastic! I love those pens and your colouring is amazing! It’s always sad when great teachers move on! I am jealous your girls are done. We still have 3 weeks of school!!!

  2. Love these colorful pens and I’m sure the girls’ teacher will too! And I’m loving that new Gray Granite color. I think it’s going to magically appear on my wish list very soon!
