It’s time for another new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our talented French friend, Cecile Ribon, is our hostess. She has a fun sketch for us. Take a look:
This sketch had me stumped for a while. I decided to start by finding some dsp to use, and reached for a pretty sheet from the Tea Room Specialty dsp pack. Once I got it cut out I decided to let it be the star of the show because it is so pretty.
I almost had a monochromatic card, but when it was time to add the sentiment I felt like I needed another color to make it pop. And once I went down that road, my chances for making a monochromatic card went out the window. Maybe one day…

Great choice to use that DSP for the angled layer – it’s a gorgeous pattern. And I love that you used a couple of complementary colors for the floral images. What a beauty!
