It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our sketch comes all the way from France. Ooh la la! Our hostess is Cecile Ribon, who is a master with die-cuts. Take a look at what she has created for us:
I recently acquired the Dino Days suite of products. No, I do not have young children anymore and hence no longer play with plastic dinosaurs, but I have an 18 year-old daughter who still loves dinosaurs and these dinos are just plain cute. I knew I could make some dinosaur cards to mail to her when she goes off to college next month, so I decided to get started.
On a piece of white card stock I applied a light wash of Pool Party ink. Once that dried, I stamped the background with Old Olive and Pretty Peacock ink. I also added some splatters. The dinosaur was die-cut from the coordinating dsp and popped up with dimensionals.
This was a fun card to make! I guess I still like playing with dinosaurs.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site and check out what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
