Twas the week before Christmas and we have a new sketch for you over at Freshly Made Sketches. It’s my turn to be the hostess, and with the craziness of last minute preparations, I thought a card that features a tilted/crooked/wonky panel would be appropriate. Take a look:
The closer I get to Christmas, the simpler my cards become. With this one, I let the pretty Toile Tidings dsp do most of the work. I paired it with my favorite sentiment die from the Merry Christmas Dies. I just love the scripty “M” in this one.
The “Merry” was cut from the Red Glimmer Paper and the “Christmas” was stamped with a stamp from the coordinating Merry Christmas to All stamp set.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. I know it’s a busy time of year and it can be hard to carve out time to craft, but this challenge will be open for three weeks. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

I haven’t used my toile paper yet….so I may just case this sweet card and make a few! I have some of those last few cards to make as well!
The wonky panels don’t look so wonky on your card – it’s a fabulous addition to that classic paper and beautiful sentiment. Have a Merry Christmas!!
That toile paper is gorgeous and makes such a beautiful background for your sparkly sentiment. I secretly love wonky layers so I was happy to see this one!! Have a most happy and healthy new year! 🙂
