Perfectly Framed Together — Monday Montage #161

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

I was so excited to see that the Ornate Frames Dies were carried over from the Holiday catalog.  And I was just as excited to see that there is a new stamp set that coordinates with these dies, Perfectly Framed, which has some fabulous sentiments.  One of the sentiments in particular stood out to me as I was contemplating what I wanted to stamp today.  It seemed to be appropriate for these times we are experiencing.

I started by stamping some of the greenery and flowers with Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade inks.  I stamped off once onto scratch paper before stamping on the card base to achieve a softer look.

I love the detail on the gorgeous frames in this die set.  I popped up the two layers with dimensionals and added some retired baker’s twine as an embellishment.

I was inspired by the current tic-tac-toe challenge over at The Paper Players, and went with the diagonal score of ribbon, spring, and flowers.

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.

  1. Amy this is so pretty! Your sentiment is indeed appropriate for these unusual times we find ourselves in and I love the layering with the fancy frame and teeny florals. Lots of detail yet clean and simple too. Great to see you playing along with our Tic-Tac-Toe challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

  2. Wowza, this is stunning!! I love these frames but haven’t had them jump in my cart quite yet, so it is lovely to see them here with your gorgeous florals! Such a thoughtful card! THanks for playing with the Players this week with this beauty!

  3. Beautiful, Amy! Love the colors and the clean design – even with the flowers and ornate frame!! Thank for sharing it with us at The Paper Players this week! 🙂

  4. Your limited color palette and all the white gives your card such a fresh feel for Spring, Amy. The sentiment looks great taking center stage with that gorgeous frame. So glad you shared your beautiful card with us at The Paper Players this week!
