It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the lovely and talented Linda Callahan, our friend from upstate New York. She has something new for us — a slimline card. Take a peek:
I started by applying a light watercolor wash of Calypso Coral ink on a piece of watercolor card stock. While that was drying, I stamped and colored the flowers from the So Much Love stamp set and cut them out with my paper snips.
The sentiment is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set and was stamped with Memento Black ink. My card measures 3-1/2″ X 8-1/2″.
This is the first slimline card I’ve ever made and it was fun to make something new and different.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
