Polka Dots and Poinsettias — Monday Montage #173

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

I made another Christmas card using the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and dies.  This bundle is addictive!  I love how you can cut and emboss the elements so easily!

I started this one by die-cutting the smallest petals dies from Poppy Parade card stock.  I’ve discovered that if you spritz the card stock with some water before using the embossing die, it makes the embossed part a little darker and it stands out better.  I did the same thing with the leaves using Garden Green card stock.

I have some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper scraps left over in my stash, and used them for the sprigs of berries.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock cut using a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies collection.

This was actually a really easy card to put together thanks to the fabulous dies!

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.
