We’re back with another new sketch for you over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the super talented Jacquie Southas. Take a look at her fun sketch:

This sketch is perfectly timed as many of us are in the midst of making tags for Christmas presents ( which are all still unwrapped in my house). I decided to make a tag using the pretty poinsettia dies from the Poinsettia Place suite.
I started by embossing the sentiment with gold embossing powder onto the tag. I then die-cut the flower from Real Red card stock and layered the flowers. It really helps to spritz the card stock with water before die-cutting, as it makes the embossing more visible.
I layered the tag on some gingham dsp from the Heartwarming Hugs collection.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
