It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes all the way from Australia. Our hostess, the creator of incredible cards, Narelle Farrugia, has a fun one for us. Take a look:

I needed to make some sympathy cards, which have unfortunately been necessary more than usual so far this year. I thought Narelle’s sketch was perfect to make some quick and easy cards for the occasion.
I thought this sketch was perfect for some pretty designer series paper to shine. I pulled out some from the Flower & Field collection, which is a free Sale-a-Bration offering right now. I love the gorgeous patterns in this paper.
I added a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings, a little ribbon, and a scrap made with an old punch. To tie it all together, I cut out a flower using the Perennial Petals Dies and added a white twine bow.
Easy peasy! It’s the writing of the message inside that is always the hard part for me.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Such a lovely way to show off that paper. The sentiment is wonderful with the ribbon and the scallops.
Writing on the inside is difficult for me, too. This is a beautiful card!
I love how you showcased the paper! Beautifully done!
I’m sorry you are needing sympathy cards, Amy! This one is just lovely.
So lovely. The DSP in the background is so pretty. It’s a nice complement to the sentiment.
This card is so sweet Amy! That background paper is my favourite and I love those pierced blooms! Such a hard time for people needing to have funerals and not being able to have everyone there the want. This card will definitely lift someone’s spirits.
OH this is lovely Amy! I love how you’ve let the pretty DSP shine – such a wonderful card.
