It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our sketch comes from our favorite crafty Coloradan, Kim Singdahlsen. Take a peek at her fun sketch:

Wanting to use a new set I hadn’t inked yet, I reached for the Sharing Sunshine stamp set. I love how this set can be used for suns and moons and has the cutest happy face to decorate them. And since I’m running low on birthday cards, I knew it had the perfect sentiment too.
I started by cutting strips of dsp from the Pattern Party collection, which is a hostess reward set. The dsp is actually a sheet of black and white paper. I used my alcohol markers to color it with Pool Party and colored in some of the circles with Bumblebee and Daffodil Delight markers.
The sun was stamped with Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks and cut out with different circle dies from the Layering Circles dies. The sentiment was stamped on Bumblebee cardstock and embossed with black embossing powder. I cut it out with my paper snips.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
