Last Days of Penned Dahlias — Monday Montage #198 |

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop! We are a group of stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

The final days of Sale-a-Bration are upon us, so I wanted to use some more of the products from it while I could. My favorite Sale-a-Bration item is the Delicate Dahlia stamp set. Did you get it? The previous times I used it, I stamped the outline image and then stamped the color with the other stamp. So easy, and it looks so good! But this time, I thought I’d color the image myself, and pulled out my colored pencils to do the job since I hadn’t used them in a very long time.

I cut the bloom and leaves out with my paper snips and placed them on a piece of the Beautifully Penned dsp, which is another Sale-a-Bration offering. I added a little Pool Party ink with a blending brush behind the flower. The sentiment is from the Biggest Wish stamp set and was cut out with a die from the Tasteful Labels Die collection.
