We’re back with another new sketch for you at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our sketch comes all the way from France via our favorite master of die-cuts, Cecile Ribon. Take a look at this fun sketch:

When I saw this sketch, I was bound and determined to be creative and substitute something for the stars. Why, oh why, do I make things harder than they need to be?!? I have some great stars dies that would have been so easy to use, but alas…
After trying several different stamp sets and dies, I finally settled on cutting out one of the gingerbread cookies from the Gingerbread & Peppermint dsp stack. I cut out some little holly leaves from the Christmas Trimmings dies and the Stockings dies and used some of the fun Gingerbread & Peppermint Acrylic Shapes as embellishments. The sentiment is from an old Paper Pumpkin stamp set.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
