It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the incredibly talented Karren Johnson, who has mad ink skills. Take a look at this great sketch, which offers so many possibilities:
I needed to make a birthday card for a sweet friend and I thought the Kite Delight stamp set would be perfect for the occasion.
I started by blending some Pool Party ink on a piece of white card stock. I then stamped the three kites on another piece of white card stock and colored them with my alcohol markers before cutting them out. The kite tails and sun were stamped and colored as well before popping the kites up with dimensionals.
I cut out some So Saffron card stock with a scalloped die from the Penned Flowers Dies collection, and placed it under the sides of the focal panel. All of this was placed on a piece of dsp from the recent Sale-a-Bration offering, the Sunshine & Rainbows dsp collection.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. We love seeing what you create as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
