Sweet Bunny – FMS530

We’re back with a new sketch for you over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is our very talented friend from Massachusetts, Jen Mitchell. She has a fun sketch for us – take a peek:

I made an Easter care package for my college student and wanted to put a card in it, so I knew that would be my theme for the sketch. Since I hadn’t used the sweet bunny in the Easter Friends stamp set yet and I knew it would be perfect for an Easter card (Easter IS in the name of the stamp set after all), this card came together pretty quickly.

I started by stamping and lightly coloring the bunny with my alcohol markers. I added a blended background with some Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue inks.

Some little Loose Flower Flourishes were added around the sentiment, and that was it, other than a little baker’s twine bow.

I’ll write a little note and place it right on top of the care package, which I decorated with some flowers made using the Pierced Blooms Dies and some leftover pieces of the recent Sale-a-Bration dsp from the Friendly Hello collection.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
