It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is the very talented Coloradan stamper, Kim Singdahlsen. Take a look at the fun sketch she has for us:
One of the new sets in the annual catalog that I got but still hadn’t used is the Lovely & Lasting stamp set. I really got it for the sentiments and the label in the set, but of course I didn’t use any of those for this card; I used the flowers and used a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments set.
I stamped the flowers three times — once in Calypso Coral, once in Parakeet Party and once in Crushed Curry. I then cut everything out with my paper snips and pieced it all back together. The flowers were placed on a strip of dsp from the Butterfly Kisses dsp.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

Oh this card is so fabulous Amy! I love those flowers! They look amazing against the DSP! Very pretty colour combination!
Gorgeous!! I love the layers you created. And I love your story of the sentiment you used! That is so like something I’d do – get it for the sentiments and use something else!
This card is gorgeous and I love the fonts in the sentiment! Such a beautiful card, Amy!
