UM Cardigan — FMS556

It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it is my pleasure to assume the hostess duties. That means that I get to provide the sketch. I went with a simple design – one that allows a focal image to take center stage in a circle (or shape of your choice). Take a look:

I wanted to make a little care package for my college daughter, and I always have to include a card in the box. When I saw the cute sweater in the Forever Friendship stamp set, I thought it could be a college letterman’s sweater. Do they even make those anymore?? While I didn’t include a sweater just like what’s on the card, I did include a cardigan in her package.

I colored the sweater and flag with my alcohol markers and then printed out the “M” on my computer printer and glued it on the flag. I love how this hobby allows us to personalize cards!

The maize striped dsp is from the Celebrate Everything collection, which is a hostess offering.

I even finished out the inside of the card, which I rarely do.

We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

    • No, it is for the University of Michigan. However, my high school senior just visited Montana State University on Thursday and loved it.! Who knows, but I may be making this card for a Montana State student some day. 🙂
