It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess, a lover of square card sketches, Jen Mitchell, has a good one for us. Take a look:
Since the sketch doesn’t have a space designated for a sentiment, I decided to let it be the focal circle on the card.
I pulled out the Merriest Moments stamp set and embossed the image using some old Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, and cut it out with a circle die. I placed it on a square I cut from some of the Lights Aglow dsp, and placed that on a square of gold glimmer paper, which was placed on another sheet of dsp from that collection.
I love this pretty sentiment! And I love how quickly and easily this card came together.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has made for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
I love this and am totally casing it in my quest to use as much DSP as possible for my holiday cards!
I’m with Linda. This card is totally CASE-worthy and I’m going to incorporate it into my Christmas card stash! The combination of shimmer and shine are just fabulous!
This is such a fabulous card Amy! I just love the red and gold! The gold just sparkles! So perfect for Christmas!
