There’s a new sketch up over at Freshly Made Sketches. It is brought to us by our favorite Coloradan, Kim Singdahlsen, who always makes gorgeous cards, even while injured! Take a look at what she has for us this week:
I had the October Paper Pumpkin kit on my desk, and it contains some strips in the kit that I thought would work perfectly with the sketch. And since I love the jolly Santa in the kit, it was an easy decision on what to use for this one.
The kit contains some great snowflake die-cut backgrounds. I started with one of them and adhered two of the strips for the sketch. The third was a piece of white card stock on which I stamped one of the sentiments from the included stamp set. That white piece of card stock is the only thing on this card that wasn’t included in the kit. October’s kit was a really good one!
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has made for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
Oh that Santa is definitely jolly – he makes me smile just looking at him! Such a fabulous card and everything works together perfectly!
This card is so fun Amy! I just love that Santa and the snowflakes! Love the fun colour combination! That pink and red striped paper is so fun!
I love your grouping of Christmas fun! The Santa is charming and so wonderful with the snowflake, the background, the patterns and the big ho ho ho!!
Ho Ho Ho….this is So So So adorable!
