It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week it comes to us courtesy of Jen Timko, who has mad coloring skills. She has great sketching skills too – take a look:
When I saw the large oval in the sketch, I immediately thought of a wreath in the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP.
I started with a Pretty Peacock card base and then cut out a strip of Petal Pink card stock to go under one side of a piece of the Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP. This dsp kit has some coordinating die-cut images, and I used three of those to assemble the floral wreath.
I used another piece of the dsp in the center of the wreath, and embossed a sentiment from the Courage & Faith stamp set on it. And that was it! An easy card!
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!

This really beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
This is really beautiful. I love the combination of papers and the soft colours.
Very calming xxx
And thanks so much for choosing my cute, ghost card, over at FMS :o)
This is beautiful Amy – so perfect for the sketch! I had the same thought re the oval, but alas did not have such a beautiful sentiment to frame so instead went rogue! Your card has a lovely serene quality to it.
This wreath is a stunner! What a beautiful color palette and use of elements.
Gorgeous card, Amy! This floral wreath is so beautiful, so romantic! I love those fresh colors too.
Wow that DSP was prfect for the sketch! Lovely!
That frame is gorgeous! And so lovely on the peacock and pink background!
