A Musical Peaceful Pine

I recently got the  Peaceful Pines Bundle and wanted to play with it.  I love how there are so many options and possibilities with this set.  You can decorate the trees in so many different ways.

The sketch over at Retrosketches was perfect for some inspiration.

I started with a sheet of the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum.  I love the instant elegance that these sheets add to any project.  I then added a piece of sheet music from the Home for Christmas dsp pack.  And then I added some fun and pretty embellishments.  I think I pulled out just about every gold embellishment I have.  ha!

Peaceful Peace Pine Close UpI started by stamping the tree image with Old Olive ink on Pear Pizzazz card stock.  I stamped the string of lights with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

I added a wooden Snowflake Element (thanks to some inspiration from my Snowflake Element obsessed friend, Jennifer Timko, who has been using these embellishments in amazing ways — you’re awesome, Jen!).  I added a Gold Basic Metal Button and some Gold Cording Trim, with some Gold Metallic Thread looped underneath.  A gold star sequin from the Metallic Sequins Assortment and a sentiment cut from Gold Glimmer Paper using a die from the Christmas Greetings Thinlits finish off the card.

Enjoy your Monday!  Thanks for stopping by!
