Hello Collage — Monday Montage #66

Monday Montage Banner -- October

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of ten stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is to click on the links at the bottom of each post.

Now that the sun is out in force again here and everything is turning green, I am getting Spring Fever.  I think that is carrying over into my stamping life too, as I keep pulling out Spring colors and floral sets when I set down to create.

I had some of the little flowers from the Circle of Spring set colored and cut out on my desk that were leftover from another project, and they were just waiting to be used.  So as I looked around, I kept pulling out different products that I thought might pair well with them.  Before I knew it, I had used all sorts of things to make a collage with these happy flowers.

Hello CollageI started by misting a mixture of Pool Party ink and rubbing alcohol onto a piece of Color Me Irresistible dsp.  That added just a little bit of soft color for the background.  The yellow circles were made with Daffodil Delight ink and a stamp from the Memories in the Making stamp set.  I cut out some Pear Pizzazz leaves with a die from the Rose Garden Thinlits collection and used a few strands from the White 1-1/4″ Jute Ribbon.

Hello Collage Close UpI added a Calypso Coral butterfly from Butterfly Basics and a sentiment from the Greetings Thinlits Dies.  And now I have a mess of things to put away on my desk!  🙂

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!
