Blooming with Sympathy — FabFri15

It’s time for another Fab Friday challenge.  This week we have a fab sketch challenge for you:

I needed to add to my stash of sympathy cards, so I pulled out my Blooming with Kindness set.  I had made some First Edition dsp covered with gesso a couple of months ago, and  had some left over (here’s the post where I used it last).  So I used some of it for this card.  I love how it mutes the newsprint so you can stamp on it and have a more subtle newsprint look.  I took my color cues from the colors in the Print Poetry dsp stack.

  1. Amy, I am intrigued with how you used Gesso. I know many people use it with colored pencils but had not heard of the technique you employed. Love the effect on your card. Thank you for sharing!
