It’s time for another Fab Friday challenge. This week we have a fab sketch challenge for you:
I needed to add to my stash of sympathy cards, so I pulled out my Blooming with Kindness set. I had made some First Edition dsp covered with gesso a couple of months ago, and had some left over (here’s the post where I used it last). So I used some of it for this card. I love how it mutes the newsprint so you can stamp on it and have a more subtle newsprint look. I took my color cues from the colors in the Print Poetry dsp stack.
Remember, you have two weeks to play along with the Fab Friday challenges, so I hope you can find time to join us.
Enjoy your Friday! Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies Used:
Stamps: Blooming with Kindness, Loving Thoughts
Ink: Primrose Petals, Gumball Green, Basic Black

Love your card. All the colours work well together.
Amy, I am intrigued with how you used Gesso. I know many people use it with colored pencils but had not heard of the technique you employed. Love the effect on your card. Thank you for sharing!
Very pretty card, your flower is beautiful.
Such a pretty card!!! I may have to get me some gesso to play with!! Love it!!
