Orange Shades of Summer Silhouettes — FMS93

The amazing Allisa Chilton has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.

I think this is a great all-around sketch!  There are so many stamp sets that one could use with it — which kinda makes it hard, because then you have to choose just one.  I decided to use Summer Silhouettes because it has been a little neglected as of late.

  1. I love your color combination and that ribbon treatment is adorable! What a great idea to cut the crochet trim with little banner ends over the Chevron ribbon and then tie it all together with Baker’s Twine. The layered flowers really give it wonderful dimension as well.

  2. I love the colour combination in your card and all the wonderful dimension! I came to your blog via Narelle Farrugia’s today and I must admit, I’ve scrolled through your last few months of posts and loved every single card – you have inspired me to loose some of the fuss and try clean and simple for a while. Thanks so much for sharing your projects!

  3. Amy, do you ever make a bad card?! Goodness! This one is stunning as always. I love the flowers and LOVE the color combination.

  4. Wow! Another incredibly fabulous card! The colors are so pretty and I love all the details. I especially love the layering on the horizontal panel and those gorgeous layered flowers.
