Here’s a pretty simple card for you today which doesn’t have much stamping, but was fun to make nonetheless.
I started by cutting one of the larger Seasonal Snapshot Project Life cards to a 4″ x 5-1/4″ size and adhering it to the card base. I then took a doily and sponged it with some Sahara Sand ink. My objective there was to give it an aged and not-so-stark-white look. I think all that I really accomplished there was making it look dirty. :0
After adding the burlap ribbon, I added some loops of linen thread. I cut out a leaf with the Bigz Autumn Accents die using Tangerine Tango card stock, which I then ran through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder.
The sentiment is from the Holiday Invitation stamp set.
Enjoy your Friday! Thanks for stopping by!
This is a beautiful card Amy. I think my favorite part is doing the linen thread bow under the button vs. on top. TFS!
LOVE your creation here, Amy, and thanks for the reminder to use those sentiments for something other than invitations 😉
