Welcome to another Monday Montage! We are a group of ten stampers who loves to share our creativity with others. All you have to do to follow along with the blog hop is to click on the links at the bottom of each post.
I needed to make a birthday card for my dad, and I just can’t seem to stop using the Cherry on Top dsp. Since the sheet with the party banners is perfect for a birthday, I didn’t look for any other paper.
I paper pierced the star and added one of the Expressions Natural Elements for the sentiment. I thought the wooden sentiment was kinda manly, so I wanted to use it for this card.
I added some gold Metallic Thread and star sequins — maybe not the most masculine of embellishments, but hey — I didn’t use any buttons or ribbon. Those are the things the guys in my house say to avoid for manly cards. 🙂
You’re ready to hop on over to the super creative Breelin Renwick’s blog. She has something to wow you tonight. If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can venture over to Wendy Weixler’s amazing blog. Either way, be sure to work your way through all ten blogs.
Enjoy your Monday! Thanks for stopping by!

I pulled a new stamp set, You’re Sublime, off my shelf. I think all of the images in this set are so cute. And I love the punny sentiments.

I hadn’t cleaned up my desk after making my last card, and I had so much fun using the Watercolor Wings stamp set that I decided to use it again for this card. I just changed up the color scheme for this one.

I put an oval in the sketch, but feel free to use any shape you like. The design team used all sorts of different things — love their creativity! I had intended to use an oval on my card, but you know how sometimes one thing leads to another, and before you know it, you’ve ended up with something totally different than what you had originally planned.
