Loads of Sublime Thanks — FMS192

It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week Jen Mitchell is our hostess.  Jen is so gifted at making fab clean cards.  She has a great versatile sketch for us too:

I pulled a new stamp set, You’re Sublime, off my shelf.  I think all of the images in this set are so cute.  And I love the punny sentiments.

Loads of Sublime ThanksI colored this with an aquapainter and a blender pen.  I added some of the fun silver metallic thread, white baker’s twine, and silver 1/8″ ribbon behind the focal image.  The dsp is from the Schoolhouse pack.

Loads of Sublime Thanks Close UpWe hope you’ll make some time to play along with the challenge.  We love to see how you interpret the sketch.  Meanwhile, you can see what the design team made at the Freshly Made Sketches site for some inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I’ve been admiring this card since I first saw it on the private blog. Just gorgeous and so fun! The polka dot paper is perfect for this adorable image.

  2. Beautiful card Amy! I love that sweet little wheelbarrow. The flowers are coloured perfectly! I love how you’ve wound the ribbon behind the circle! Love the look! Great DSP too!

  3. I still love your style, Amy! This is so sweet. You’ve chosen the perfect DSP backdrop for this adorable image, and I love the way you used the twine and ribbons for added interest and dimension.
