Birthday Week — Monday Montage #88

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of ten stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

It was birthday week in our house this past week.  My daughter turned 16 on Valentine’s Day and my son turned 18 just two days later.  I shared the card I made for her in our last blog hop, so I thought I’d share the card I made for him today.  It was a fun week to celebrate these milestone birthdays with my kids (can I still call him that now that he’s 18?), but it was also bittersweet.  I know that next year, he’ll be away at college on his birthday and I won’t get to celebrate with him in person.  But I’m excited for him and the opportunities before him.  I just try to focus on today and not think about what’s coming in a few short months too much.

18-birthday-hopI pulled out a set I haven’t used in a while, Celebrate Today.  I used a color combo of Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Watermelon Wonder.  This is a fun set, as it has banners, balloons, and great sentiments.  Plus it has coordinating framelits!

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.
