Party On, Mr. Fox — FMS291

It’s time for another sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches!  And this week, our favorite Canadian designer extraordinaire, Jen Brum, is our hostess.  Take a look at this fun one:

I’ve been itching to use the new Birthday Memories Suite in the new catalog, so I pulled out the dies, dsp and stamp set.  One of the things that I love about this suite is how the dies not only coordinate with the stamp set, but how they also coordinate with the images in the dsp.  And what cute images they are!  I love all of them!  They remind me of the old Golden Books for children.

I die-cut the images of the fox, the banner, and his hat with the framelits.  I then stamped the sentiment on the banner and the one on the dsp background piece and created this little scene.  Easy!

I had some leftover enamel shapes from the previous catalog and used them here as well.  I think these images are sweet as can be, and I love how they’re perfect for boys or girls.

It has been a busy week in the O’Neill household.  The kids finished school on Thursday, my oldest graduated from high school on Friday, and the girls left for church camp Saturday morning.  And we had a graduation party on Friday afternoon, as well as having family in town for part of the week.  Fun times every minute of it!

Cole will be heading off to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the Fall to attend the University of Alabama.  We’re going to try to enjoy this Summer as much as possible while we still have him around here in Texas.  I’m excited for him and what his future holds.

Well, enough about that!  We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch.  We love to see what you create and browse the gallery each week.  Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!
