Fabulous Flirty Flamingos — Monday Montage #94

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of ten stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

One of the fun new sets in the new annual catalog is Fabulous Flamingo.  It’s a 2-Step Stamp set, but I used it as a 3-step stamp, making it easy to layer different shades of pink.

I started this card by applying a light wash of Pool Party ink to the bottom, and once it was dry I stamped the water image over it with the same color of ink.  I added some Pear Pizzazz for the grass/reeds.  The flamingo was stamped with Flirty Flamingo (of course), Blushing Bride and Powder Pink.

I also made a little gift bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board and some of the Lemon Lime Twist card stock.  I LOVE this new color!

I cut out a flamingo with my Paper Snips and and adhered it with some Stampin’ Dimensionals onto a piece of Vellum Card stock.  The bow was made with some of the pretty Powder Pink 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon, which is so easy to work with.

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.

Enjoy your Monday!  Thanks for stopping by!
