From Our Family to Yours — FMS309

It’s time for another new sketch over at the Freshly Made Sketches site, and this week our favorite friend from upstate New York, Linda Callahan, is our hostess.  Take a look at the fun sketch she has for us:

I have always wanted a Christmas sentiment that says, “From Our Family to Yours,” so when I saw one that says just that in the Snowflake Sentiments set, I knew I had to have it.  Have you ever bought an entire stamp set for just one sentiment?  Truth be told, I love all of the sentiments in this set, and I know I will use many of them, but I would have bought it anyways for just this one.

I paired this lovely sentiment (isn’t the font gorgeous!) with some Garden Green dsp from the Quilted Christmas pack.  A scrap of black Merry Music dsp was added as well.  I used a bit of Real Red ribbon and one of the Stitched Felt Embellishments to finish things off.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch.  We love to see what you create.  Meanwhile, be sure to hop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Oh this is just lovely Amy! I love the quilted products SU have created for Christmas and love how you’ve used the paper here. Your sentiment is perfect – yes, I have totally purchased a set for just one sentiment – too many times in fact……

  2. I have bought an entire stamp set for just one particular sentiment in it for sure! LOL! I can see why you wanted this one. It’s fantastic! Love the traditional colors of this card and those felt embellishments are fabulous!

  3. Well, since I’m a sentiment hoarder (admitting it is part of the cure???), I can safely say I have gotten sets just for one particular phrase. And this was totally worth it (bonus that the whole set is cute!). Love this card. Classic and really wonderful!
