We have a new sketch for you over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our favorite crafty pilot, Jennifer Timko, is our hostess. Take a look at her fun sketch:
When searching for something to use for the circle shape in this sketch, I thought of several different new stamp sets that would work. But once it came to actually putting the card together, I just couldn’t get happy with anything. So I went back to my stamp shelf and pulled out a set that hasn’t seen ink in a while, Lemon Zest, and decided it was the one.
I paired it with a piece of dsp from the Tropical Escape pack. A doily, black rhinestones, and some black twine were added as embellishments. I didn’t want to add much as I wanted the bold dsp and bright lemons to be the focal part of the card.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
