It’s time for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and this week our hostess is our favorite card-making Aussie artist, Narelle Farrugia. She has a fabulous sketch for us that offers many possibilities. Take a peek:
While trying to decide what to use for the circles in the sketch, I uncovered an unused leaf from the Falling for Leaves stamp set that I had stamped over a month ago but hadn’t colored. Thinking leaves would work with the sketch, I pulled out my markers and got to coloring.
I started by stamping the Buffalo Check background stamp with Versamark ink on a piece of Mint Macaron card stock and embossing it with clear embossing powder. I love this background stamp!
The color scheme includes Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry, and Cajun Craze.
We hope you’ll join us and make your own card using the sketch. We love to see what you create! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
