It’s time for a new sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and this week our hostess is our talented stamping friend from the Rocky Mountains, Kim Singdahlsen. She has a great sketch for us! Take a look:
I thought I should stock up on some birthday cards because my stash has taken a big hit lately. I thought the cute little meerkats would work well with the partial circle in the sketch, so I went with that Sale-a-Bration stamp set.
I stamped these three images and colored them with my markers. I ran a piece of Pool Party card stock through the Big Shot using the Subtle embossing folder just to add a little texture and interest to the card base.
I added a few sequins and a bow from bakers twine that were part of the Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack, which I just noticed today is sold out. Hopefully you got yours as a Sale-a-Bration reward before they ran out.
The dsp is from the Birthday Bonanza paper package.
We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch. We love to see what your create as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
