Staying at home has caused me to lose all sense of what day it is anymore. I definitely couldn’t tell you the date, and I probably would have a hard time determining what day of the week it currently is as well. But I do know it’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. And this week our hostess, the very talented Jacquie Southas, has a fun one for us. Take a look:
I hadn’t used the Forever Blossoms stamp set yet, and I think it is so pretty. Now that Spring is officially here, I thought it was high time to break it out and get it inky.
I started by cutting out a Pool Party card base and adhering a piece of Parisian Blossoms dsp to it. I then cut out a piece of white card stock using one of the Stitched Nested Labels dies.
The flowers were stamped and colored with markers and then die-cut using the Cherry Blossoms dies. I love how these dies cut out the little bits for you.
I added some Flirty Flamingo splatters before adhering the blooms with dimensionals and a little white baker’s twine bow. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set.
This is a great time to be creative and make a pretty card! We hope you’ll use the sketch and create your own card and post it to the Freshly Made Sketches gallery. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
