A Tropical Color Challenge — Monday Montage #162

Welcome to another Monday Montage blog hop!  We are a group of stampers who love to share what we create with you, and all you have to do to follow along is click on the links at the bottom of each post.

My upline has been giving us some weekly challenges to keep us entertained during this quarantine period.  This week’s involved using three colors, and since I love all of these colors, I knew it would be a fun challenge.

I wanted to make a big, bold flower with the Pumpkin Pie color and chose the Timeless Tropical stamp set.

I started by coloring the focal image with markers and cutting it out.  I placed the flower and leaves on a pretty label die that is included in the Wild Rose dies collection.  I placed that on a Stitched Shapes square cut from Night of Navy card stock.  All of this was placed on a stitched rectangle that was stamped with some Night of Navy dots from the Label Me Bold stamp set.  In all of those layers, there is a piece of dsp from the coordinating Tropical Oasis dsp pack and some linen thread.  Lots of layers on this one!

You’re ready to hop on over to Breelin Renwick’s blog.  I always love seeing what she makes!  If you prefer to work your way backwards, you can jump back to Wendy Weixler’s blog.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing.
